FATAL: StreamServerPort: bind() failed: errno=13

Alguien sabe a que se puede deber este fallo al iniciar postgresql,

Chuchi:/etc/rc.d/init.d# ./postgresql start

Starting postgresql service: FATAL: StreamServerPort: bind() failed:
errno=13
        Is another postmaster already running on that port?
        If not, remove socket node (/tmp/.s.PGSQL.<portnr>)and retry.
/usr/bin/postmaster: cannot create UNIX stream port

ni hay otro demonio de postgres, ni tampoco ese tal /tmp/.s.PGSQL.

me pasaria eliminando cosas ??
