[Pgsql-ayuda] Problemas desde php

Hola...
Tengo postgres 7.0 andando sobre el mandrake 8.0 con php4 y desde el
webmin puedo acceder al postgres sin problemas, acceder a las bases y
mirar el contenido sin problemas, pero cuando quiero acceder desde php a
las bases me tira este errror..

Esto me pasa desde el horde, pero igual me pasa con otros programas.
El usuario y la clave para acceder a la bases son correctos, pero no
logro acceder desde php.
En la configuracion esta pueso que deje acceder al postgres desde
localhost y desde el 127.0.0.1

Alguna idea de lo que puede pasar?.
