<p>La Academia Mexicana de Ciencias, conjuntamente con la Asociación Mexicana de Amigos del Instituto Weizmann de Ciencias, otorgan anualmente los Premios Weizmann a las mejores tesis de doctorado en las áreas de Ciencias Exactas y Naturales e Ingeniería y
Tecnología, realizadas en México por investigadores menores de 35 años en el caso de los hombres y para las mujeres 38 años.</p>

<p>De igual forma la Academia otorga el Premio a las mejores tesis de doctorado en Ciencias Sociales y Humanidades, realizadas en México por investigadores que no hayan cumplido en el caso de los hombres 38 años y para las mujeres 40 años.<br>
