Muchos llegamos entonces como estudiantes y, eventualmente, nos convertimos en parte de la planta docente.</span></p><p class="ecxMsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;"><span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif;"> </span></p><p class="ecxMsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;"><span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif;">Las mujeres traíamos las faldas muy cortas; los hombres, los pantalones de mezclilla deshilachados y, todos, los cabellos demasiado largos; tan largos como nuestro entusiasmo por crear una psicología comprometida con el pueblo que, en la mayoría de los casos, había sufragado el costo de nuestros estudios en las aulas universitarias.</span></p><p class="ecxMsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;"><span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif;"> </span></p><p class="ecxMsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;"><span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif;">Llegamos a integrarnos a las filas de la academia de la mano de grandes maestros, quienes tuvieron la paciencia de guiarnos y la generosidad de seguir brindándonos su amistad y su apoyo cuando crecimos y decidimos actuar por cuenta propia: cuestionando las posiciones teóricas que nos habían inculcado y asumiendo posturas que considerábamos “revolucionarias”, dirigiendo nuestras prácticas profesionales hacia poblaciones marginadas, repletas de problemas sociales que repercutían en su salud mental.</span></p><p class="ecxMsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;"><span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif;"> </span></p><p class="ecxMsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;"><span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif;">Nuestra querida Universidad resultó ser el patrón más noble: nos apoyó para desarrollar nuestras propuestas pedagógicas, nos trató siempre con respeto; impulsó nuestro crecimiento profesional y nos acogió en el seno de una comunidad académica que se tornó parte de nuestra familia. Con gusto cedimos nuestro tiempo, nuestros conocimientos y nuestros esfuerzos para formar profesionales de la psicología con una visión crítica y comprometida con las causas sociales más sentidas.</span></p><p class="ecxMsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;"><span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif;"> </span></p><p class="ecxMsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;"><span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif;">El tiempo pasó y nos encaneció las sienes; nos cambió el vestuario e inició la lenta pero irreversible merma de nuestra salud pero en nosotros se mantiene intacto el espíritu que impulsa nuestra labor docente, de investigación y servicio.</span></p><p class="ecxMsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;"><span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif;"> </span></p><p class="ecxMsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;"><span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif;">Compartimos la preocupación de nuestro Rector, el Dr. Narro Robles, cuando se refiere a las cifras del envejecimiento de la planta docente en la UNAM; es cierto, ¡SOMOS VIEJOS! Pero ser viejo no justifica ser objeto de desecho; la vejez implica experiencia y sabiduría, especialmente en el terreno de la enseñanza.</span></p><h2 style="text-align:justify;"><span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif;color:windowtext;font-weight:normal;"> </span></h2><h2 style="text-align:justify;"><span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif;color:windowtext;font-weight:normal;">A pesar de nuestras edades, aún sentimos que podemos aportar mucho a la formación de los futuros profesionales. El programa que el Rector propuso para una jubilación digna, benefició a muy pocos y tuvo escasa aceptación entre la comunidad académica.</span></h2><h2 style="text-align:justify;"><span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif;color:windowtext;font-weight:normal;"> </span></h2><p class="ecxMsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;"><span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif;">Los tiempos han cambiado demasiado. Hoy, por desgracia, ¡nos enfrentamos con un rostro nuevo y desconocido de nuestra Universidad!</span></p><p class="ecxMsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;"><span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif;"> </span></p><p class="ecxMsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;"><span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif;">Los profesores estamos siendo tratados con prepotencia, hostilidad y menosprecio por autoridades que, en tiempos muy cercanos, fueron parte de la propia comunidad docente. Hoy nos sentimos vigilados en nuestro quehacer y amenazados en nuestras condiciones laborales. Con ello, las autoridades demuestran poca sensibilidad y un profundo desconocimiento del quehacer académico en Psicología.</span></p><p class="ecxMsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;"><span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif;"> </span></p><p class="ecxMsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;"><span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif;">Reconocemos que la Universidad tiene pleno derecho de exigir el cabal cumplimiento de nuestras responsabilidades académicas pero, de igual forma, tiene la obligación de brindarnos el respeto que nos hemos ganado con largas décadas de trabajo y dedicación docente y, por el simple hecho ser parte de la comunidad universitaria.</span></p><p class="ecxMsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;"><span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif;"> </span></p><p class="ecxMsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;"><span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif;">No podemos permanecer callados cuando a varios compañeros de nuestra institución se les ha dado un trato vejatorio a sus derechos más elementales. El caso más reciente –que no el único- es el de la Dra. Milagros Damián a quien el 18 de octubre, en una reunión presidida por funcionarios de la FES-I, se le acusó de intentar robarse una computadora propiedad de la Jefatura de Psicología. A la profesora se le dio un trato de delincuente: se le amedrentó, amenazándola con dar aviso al Ministerio Público para que fuera detenida y como “alternativa” se le presionó para que firmara su solicitud de jubilación. Ello, no obstante que el día anterior (17 de octubre) la Jefatura de Carrera de Psicología había recuperado la computadora, encontrada desde la fecha de su extravío, por la secretaria del Jefe de Medicina.</span></p><p class="ecxMsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;"><span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif;"> </span></p><p class="ecxMsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;"><span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif;">No cabe duda, ¡ESTAMOS VIEJOS! El 10 de octubre, al término de una reunión de Cambio Curricular, la profesora Damián (miembro de la Comisión 8), se ofreció a cargar una computadora que estuvo a punto de caer al piso, a fin de ayudar a una funcionaria de la administración y, en una distracción –que también implica el descuido de la Dra. Rentería, responsable del aparato de cómputo- no depositó la computadora en la Jefatura de Psicología sino que se la dejó al hombro y descuidadamente, minutos después, la olvidó en un baño de la planta baja del edificio de Gobierno. Esto es, sin duda, un descuido reprobable que seguramente merece una llamada de atención a los dos involucradas, e incluso podría dar lugar a una sanción pero, de ninguna manera justifica el proceso “judicial” (en el peor sentido de la palabra) al que se vio sujeta la Dra. Damián y que este jueves 7 de noviembre derivará en una audiencia legal donde se le acusa, además, de “falta de probidad y honradez” por la malversación de bienes universitarios; ello porque tenía en su domicilio material de cómputo con el cual realiza su cotidiana labor de investigación. Para nadie es desconocida la inseguridad que prevalece en nuestra institución por lo que muchos compañeros buscan proteger el patrimonio universitario bajo su resguardo, NO dejándolo en sus lugares de trabajo, muchos de los cuales han sido objeto de rapiña, sin que nunca se aclare quiénes resultan responsables de tales actos delictivos.</span></p><p class="ecxMsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;"><span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif;"> </span></p><p class="ecxMsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;"><span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif;">ESTAMOS VIEJOS, no tenemos la misma fortaleza del pasado y cometemos errores que en otros tiempos hubieran sido impensables, pero NADA MÁS. ¡No somos delincuentes del fuero común ni merecemos ser tratados como tales!</span></p><p class="ecxMsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;"><span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif;"> </span></p><p class="ecxMsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;"><span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif;">¡Esta actitud de parte de nuestras autoridades TIENE QUE TERMINAR!</span></p><p class="ecxMsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;"><span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif;"> </span></p><p class="ecxMsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;"><span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif;">¡Demandamos respeto y cese de las actitudes hostiles hacia el profesorado!</span></p><p class="ecxMsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;"><span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif;"> </span></p><p class="ecxMsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;"><span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif;"> </span></p><p class="ecxMsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;"><span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif;">EN ESTE CASO, EXIGIMOS DE LAS AUTORIDADES DE LA FACULTAD:</span></p><p class="ecxMsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;"><span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif;"> </span></p><p class="ecxMsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;"><span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif;">1.- Se cancele la audiencia administrativa en contra de la Dra. Milagros Damián dado que las declaraciones de los involucrados están plagadas de interpretaciones tendenciosas y, de ninguna forma se puede comprobar una intención de robo en la conducta de la profesora.</span></p><p class="ecxMsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;"><span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif;">2.- Se le haga entrega del documento oficial en donde se cancela la solicitud de jubilación, la cual fue suscrita bajo presión.</span></p><p class="ecxMsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;"><span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif;">3.- Se restituya de inmediato el pago actualizado a la maestra, ya que su cheque le fue detenido desde la quincena anterior.</span></p><p class="ecxMsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;"><span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif;">4.- Se respeten las condiciones de trabajo de la Dra. Damián en lo que concierne a docencia, investigación y servicio.</span></p><p class="ecxMsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;"><span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif;">5.- Se ofrezca un desagravio a la Dra. Damián por el maltrato recibido.</span></p><p class="ecxMsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;"><span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif;"> </span></p><p class="ecxMsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;"><span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif;">Es indispensable y urgente que se finquen condiciones para un diálogo respetuoso entre docentes y
