>The Instituto de Ciencias Marinas de Andalucia 
>(CSIC) has been granted a research project 
>(“Application of morphological and molecular 
>techniques in the identification of planktonic 
>larval stages of crustacean decapods from 
>Iberian Peninsula”(CGL2009-11225)) by the 
>Spanish Ministerio de Ciencia e Innovación (Plan 
>Nacional I+D+I), that will span over a period of 
>three years (January 2010 – December 2012). We 
>invite applications for a grant/contract to 
>undertake a PhD Thesis within the framework of this project.
>The main objective of this Project i s the 
>optimization of the joint applicability of 
>molecular techniques, particularly the analysis 
>of mitochondrial DNA sequences, and 
>morphological analysis, in the accurate 
>identification of Iberian brachyuran megalopae 
>obtained directly from plankton samples, and 
>further development of detailed morphological 
>descriptions. Finally, an illustrated key for 
>megalopae of the Iberian Peninsula will be
