[perl] Ayuda para Shashank (fwd)

Hi:

I am facing a problem in perl for using on the Hp
System.

The problem is that it gives compilation errors for
use and doesnt proceed.-- eg
/port1/skhare/nsPerl5.005_03/lib> perl test
syntax error in file test at line 1, next 2 tokens
"use File"
Execution of test aborted due to compilation errors.  
       


I tried using the include option also but the same
results.

The s/w version i am using are as follows
HP : HP-UX hpsys1a B.11.00 A 9000/889 (tb)
Perl : "This is perl, version 4.0

$RCSfile: perl.c,v $$Revision: 4.0.1.8 $$Date:
1993/02/05 19:39:30 $
Patch level: 36"


Do I need to do some commands after installation...
Please help on onm this ....
