[perl] A que se debe

Tengo el siguiente mensaje:

perl: warning: Setting locale failed.
perl: warning: Please check that your locale settings:
        LANGUAGE = "es",
        LC_ALL = (unset),
        LANG = "es"
    are supported and installed on your system.
perl: warning: Falling back to the standard locale ("C").
 me pasa cuando intento instalar cualquier mudulo, que tengo que hacer para
que no me mande estos warnings
por su ayuda gracias.
