informal partnership established by a number of organizations with a shared
interest in the ethics of conducting research involving human beings in

emphasis on discussion.

The theme for GFBR9 is Ethics of research involving indigenous

Part-funding may also be available to some delegates. The aim is to have a
balance of delegates from all parts of the world, with a majority of
sponsored delegates.

information as widely as possible to groups who may have a particular
interest in, and get benefit from, attending GFBR9.

Applications to attend GFBR9 (from those seeking full sponsorship,
and those who can self-fund their attendance) are to be received by 1 May
2008.
